The usual problem

The arranger, the mixer, the singer and the producer are in different cities — working online is simply how it goes now. So everything travels as an exported demo, an upload to a cloud drive and a link dropped into a group chat. By the time the other side has downloaded it, listened and said a few words, one small change has cost an entire cumbersome round trip and the momentum is gone.

How Synchain solves it

Several people walk into the project's Creative Space at the same time. The arranger inserts Synchain Bridge in the DAW, the session audio arrives in the room live, and everyone else reacts as it plays; make the edit and you hear it on the spot, with nothing to export and nothing to upload. Session files and stems all sit in the project file tree, and the discussion thread keeps a full record of every decision, version by version.

Mix review & feedback

The usual problem

The mixing engineer sends a demo to the producer and the artist and gets back a scattering of text messages — a bit more lead vocal in the chorus, the low end sounds muddy — spread across different chat windows, often without saying which version they mean.

How Synchain solves it

Move the listening session straight into Creative Space: the engineer streams the bus output through the plug-in, everyone hears the same audio in real time, and whatever comes to mind gets said and acted on right there. For asynchronous work, the discussion thread gathers the feedback version by version, and AI can fold a long thread into a short list of points.

Indie label & artist management

The usual problem

Film & TV scoring teams

The usual problem

A score has to follow the picture, and the director, the music supervisor and the composer are often in different time zones. The traditional answer is to render a version against picture, wait for the other side to watch it and then revise — which caps a whole day at one or two round trips.

How Synchain solves it

The composer plays the cue in the DAW while screen sharing pushes the picture to everyone else in the room, and the sound travels the VST3 path so it keeps its original quality. The director points out what needs changing on the spot, and the music supervisor adds notes from the same room.
