Source code on GitHub01Synchain Bridge · DAW plugin
Synchain Bridge sends your DAW's project audio straight into Synchain Creative Space in the browser — no noise suppression, no echo cancellation, no automatic gain. Your collaborators hear exactly what you dialled in.
02Why
Noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain make voices clearer — and treat music as noise. Reverb tails get cut, the backing track dips in chunks, dynamics flatten out. In Synchain Creative Space, none of this is your problem anymore.
Meeting app
An audio path tuned for speech
Synchain Bridge
The original waveform, untouched
03Signal path
No virtual audio cable, no patching. The plugin sends audio block by block at your DAW's buffer size and reports zero added latency to the host.
DAW
Your project
On the master bus or any stereo track. Your DAW's sound passes through untouched.
Synchain Bridge
Plugin
VST3, AU or AAX. The master volume only shapes the copy that gets streamed.
127.0.0.1
This computer
The plugin runs a local WebSocket server and hands the audio to the browser as 32-bit float PCM — lossless.
Synchain Creative Space
Browser
Sign in, open your project's Synchain Creative Space; it usually finds the plugin on its own.
Room
Collaborators
Streamed to the other members as stereo Opus, 510 kbps by default, adjustable from 192 to 510 kbps.
04Plugin
The whole plugin is one panel: status, meters, stream volume, Start.

05Room
Accounts, projects and who gets to listen all live in the browser. Once Synchain Creative Space connects to the plugin, turn on Broadcast to Room and everyone in the room hears your DAW.
06Specs
Known limits of the Pro Tools (AAX) beta and the full requirements are on the download and install page.
07Open source
The plugin runs inside your DAW. You have every right to know what it does.
GPL-3.0-or-later
Synchain Bridge is open source under GPL-3.0-or-later, with the full source on GitHub. Free during the beta.
Source code on GitHub127.0.0.1
The local server binds to 127.0.0.1 only. The handshake checks the page's origin and lets in only Synchain's own domains and local pages; the unencrypted ws link never leaves this computer.
SHA-256
VST3 and AU packages are built by GitHub Actions from tagged public source, byte-for-byte identical to the zips on GitHub Releases, each with a SHA-256 checksum.

09FAQ
Voice-meeting apps tune their audio path for speech: noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain treat music as noise, so it arrives muffled, smeared and pumping. Synchain Bridge sends DAW audio around that entire chain straight into the Synchain Creative Space room, while your microphone takes a separate path.
No. The plugin has no account and no project picker. Your account, projects and rooms live in Synchain Creative Space in the browser; the plugin only carries your DAW's sound to this computer. You need a Synchain account and to be an admin or member of the project.
The plugin reports zero added latency to the host and sends audio block by block at your DAW's buffer size, without stockpiling it. The Buffer reading on the panel is the length of one block, not end-to-end latency; what people in the room hear also depends on the network.
The plugin-to-browser hop stays on your computer as 32-bit float PCM — lossless. Into the room, audio is streamed as stereo Opus at 510 kbps by default, adjustable from 192 to 510 kbps.
Safari blocks HTTPS pages from reaching ws://127.0.0.1, so on a Mac it can't see the plugin. Open Synchain Creative Space in Chrome, Edge or Firefox, and choose Allow when the browser asks about accessing other apps and services on this device.
No. Your DAW's audio passes through the plugin untouched; the plugin's master volume only applies to the copy that gets streamed.
It's free during the beta. The plugin is open source under GPL-3.0-or-later, with the source on GitHub.
Install and connection details are on the download and install page; for anything else, see the FAQ.
